This 12-week marathon training plan was designed by Caleb, a 2:33 marathoner, for advanced runners seeking an edge.

Strength (8 Weeks)

This plan is built to help you in the off-season, add strength training to your current plan, or provide a simple introduction to strength.

  • Joshua Gordon, PhD

    Long Distance Coach

    Joshua Gordon, Ph.D., is a triathlon coach and elite endurance athlete who blends data-driven analysis with a holistic approach to training. As a top-ranked Ironman Age Group competitor, he helps athletes of all levels optimize performance, prevent burnout, and achieve sustainable success.

  • Aubrey Hayes

    Head Coach

    Aubrey Hayes, a seasoned coach with 15 years of experience. Aubrey has a rich background in coaching various endurance events. His achievements include qualifying for the IM703 World Championship and USAT age group nationals. He holds a BA from American Military University, is a career Army Veteran, is USAT Level 1 Certified and Training Peaks Level 1 Certified.

    Run Coach

    Caleb Bendewald, an athlete from childhood, has excelled in running for three years, clocking a personal best of 2:35 in the marathon. Known for quick adaptation, he emphasizes varied training stimuli, balancing intensity and duration for progressive improvement. His philosophy for both training and coaching is centered around embracing challenges while maintaining an element of intrigue and enjoyment in the process.
